This month was definitely filled with many more symptoms than the previous month!
Week 5 & 6:
I started getting slight cramps - which completely scared me, needless to say. They were very light (lighter than PMS cramps), but still did keep me restless. The doctor said it was perfectly normal, as long as there was no blood associated, or the cramps weren't painful...both of which were not in the picture. So far, so good! The only other symptom I had was my frequent trips to bathroom...and it wasn't because I was drinking too much water! I had to go literally every 20 minutes...and even wake up in the middle of the night twice. Fun stuff.
Week 7 & 8:
Still had the frequent urination. Felt bloated and chubby - felt much of that during this timeframe. The cramps were now just very rare occurances. But, I did go on a cruise...and it did seem like every thing I was eating was now STICKING to me. So, I did feel and look chubbier already! I vowed to begin walking as soon as I got back, which I did - and it worked wonders. I ended up losing some of that extra weight, which made me feel much better! Other than that - the nausea did kick in. I'm thankful it isn't too bad though. I do occasionally get the nauseated feeling, but don't actually vomit...most of the time. There have only been 3-4 times that I think I've actually vomitted. But, it really isn't bad at all. The nausea feeling is actually good - let's you know everything is normal, and I think it occurs because of the fluctuation of the hormones. So, I do have the feeling, but thankfully I'm not spending 80% of my time in the bathroom! ;) Physical changes - my breasts have gotten heavier and aerolas bigger. Even though I lost 5lbs of that "extra" weight, I can still feel a little chubbiness around my tummy.
I've started trying to go on walks every other day. I walk for about 2 hours - from my house to the front of my complex, at a normal speed (while talking on the phone and catching up with friends/family). The walks and fresh air def do help me to not feel as bloated!
Diet: I'm trying to keep total control of my diet. The cruise had me eating a lot of things which were really fattening, but it's all in control now! I'm eating "normally"...and do give in sometimes to some 'cravings.' I don't know, actually, if I would call it cravings, but there are times that I really feel like eating something in particular. For example, one day I felt like eating a Bean Burrito from Taco Bell (with lots of gooey cheese!), and another day I felt like eating Breadsticks with cheese from Pizza Hut! Yup, cheese is on my fav list...as is chicken. I'm not really craving any sweets, which is strange because usually I love sweets/chocolate! I have always loved spicy food, and continue to love it now :) My MIL also came within this timeframe, and is here making yummy food - from Punjabi Kadi to Paranthas! My baby has it made :) I'm trying to eat home-cooked food everyday, besides the weekend, as I usually do...so that I can continue to keep my weight in check!
That sums up the 2nd Month. I've now started Week 9, so I will try to keeping this updated in "real time" so that I do not forget any of the nitty-gritty details!
For now, I'm going to try and stay healthy & happy above all! :)
